The gambling capitol of the south, Biloxi, MS has one of the most diverse hotel selections of any city in the southeast. No matter what your budget, you can find some quality places to stay that are minutes away from dining, beaches and of course, gambling! For the new traveler to the city, a wrong choice could cost you a great vacation, so in this article we’ll cover some of the best hotels in the city of Biloxi and give you as many details as possible to help you in your selection.
Imperial Palace Biloxi
This has been a favorite of mine for years. I have stayed at the IP (as it is known in Biloxi) many times and have had few complaints. With room rates ranging from $100 – $300 per night, the IP is a great choice for the first timer. Sitting directly off of Interstate 110, the IP’s location and size makes it one of the easiest places to find in Biloxi. The hotel offers all the amenities you can expect. It has multiple dining options, various bars including a sports bar, great pool area, friendly staff and of course the casino.
Palace Casino Resort Biloxi
For the more budget conscious traveler, the Palace may be the place for you. With room prices varying from $60 – $200 per night this hotel treats the wallet kindly. Don’t think that because the Palace gives you accommodations at such a reasonable price that you’ll give up luxuries. The Palace boasts as many dining options, bars and night life as any of the other large resorts. The casino is also very spacious as well and the gaming has been known to have some rather generous payout. The Palace is always one of my first options when booking a trip to Biloxi.
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi
Those that know that know the Hard Rock chain know that you’ll get an experience like no other at the Hard Rock in Biloxi. The hotel view is stunning and the location is directly on the sands of Biloxi Beach. The rooms are a bit more pricey starting in the $150 -$300 per night range, but its well worth. The location puts the Hard Rock in the center of the Biloxi action. The Hard Rock does it usual with providing ample dining choices, after hour’s entertainment and the rooms are to die for. The Hard Rock is clearly in the tops of the Biloxi choices.
Beau Rivage Resort and Casino Biloxi
Want to stay with the stars when you go to Biloxi? Then you’ll want to stay at the Beau Rivage. When you stay at the Beau you don’t go there to be economical, so we won’t discuss price. We will say that there is no experience on the Gulf Coast that compares to that of the Beau Rivage. Dining at the Beau Rivage is comparable to four star restaurants across the country. The rooms are second to none and the view from the Beau Rivage is breath taking. I have heard of the Beau referred to as the Taj Mahal of the south and it truly lives up to its nickname.
