October’s weather in Nashville is usually enjoyable. Why not dine outside on the perfect patio? There is lots of Nashville dining spots with patios to enjoy in the Fall months. Some of my favorites are also great to enjoy cocktails or after dinner cordials or coffee. Here are just a few of my top choices.
1800 21st Avenue, Nashville TN
This cute little pub inspired patio hot spot is a popular Nashville bar/restaurant. It is located in the Hillsboro Village area. The patio faces the sidewalk in this quaint little hipster neighborhood. It is a great patio to people watch and you will probably spot a few of the local celebs. They are known for one of the best Bloody Marys($8) in town and I second that emotion. They offer lots of specials so be sure to join their Facebook movement to keep informed. One of their specials is half price bottles of wine on Sunday’s. Their Poulet Cheese steak is one of my favorite menu items. Its ingredients include pulled chicken, peppers and onions on baguette. It is also served with a side of your choice.
1112 Woodland Street, East Nashville, TN
This romantic dimly lit patio is a popular place on the East side of town. They were voted in Nashville’s Best for best wine menu. There is a Happy Hour Special Menu that is available Tuesday through Sunday from 5-8PM. There are more than a few Happy Hour selections such as Hummus ($5), a Delicious Chocolate Martini ($5), and my Favorite Cavit Pinot Noir ($6). Let’s not forget about Tuesdays at Rumours! Two for one Tuesday’s offer two for one glasses of wine. This is a great date spot or fun night out with the gals.
2017 Belmont Blvd., Nashville, TN
Owner/Executive Arnold Myint from Season 7 of “Top Chef” knew what he was doing when he came up with the menu and concept of this popular always packed restaurant. This is one of my favorite patios in the city. An eclectic crowd of musicians, college kids, and modern families fill this establishment on a daily basis. Lunch, Dinner, and Late night bites are available Monday through Sunday. Sunday’s are a fun time to dine which offers half price bottles of Sake. There is always a wait but it is oh so worth it. A few of my favorite menu items are any of the Sushi rolls($4-10), the fries with Wasabi Mayo($6) and another favorite is the Caesar Diane($8) which ingredients include Wasabi Peas, Romaine Lettuce, and Asian Noodles.
