The Biggest Loser Resort in Malibu is the second resort of its kind to open. The other Biggest Loser Resort is located in Utah. Both resorts are based on the hit NBC show “The Biggest Loser.”
While Jillian won’t be heard screaming at the dieters, guests will be exposed to grueling work outs. The facility offers the newest fitness equipment, a pool, and healthy meals. The resort only takes 80 guests at a time, so that each guest gets attention. Guests are limited to fewer than 1,500 calories per day and exercise for several hours. Guests attend fitness and nutrition lectures.
There are also spa services available for all those sore bodies. Spa services include: massage, makeup, acupuncture, and manicures to give you a full body make over. Spa services are not included in your room rate.
Guest pay $2,295 a week and up depending upon the type of room you book. Guest can book personal nutrition counseling or personal counseling for additional fees. There are personal and duet personal training sessions available. Prices for personal training sessions start at $50. There are also VO2 and RMR testing. They test your body’s efficiency levels. There are morning hikes included in the cost of your stay, but if that is not enough than you can go on a private hike for $40 per hour. If your whole life needs some tweaking than a life coach is available for $120 for a 50 minute session.
You will not be roughing in these cabins at the Biggest Loser Resort in Malibu. Each cabin comes with free wireless internet, a queen size bed, cable, and bathroom. There is a laundry room and retail shop all on-site.
Teens, over 14, are welcome at the resort. They must be accompanied by an adult to all activities. The Resort does not have any time of daycare services available, so try to many alternate plans for younger children.
The packing list is pretty large for your stay.
