At 138 Court Street, the Brooklyn Wine Exchange is right at an intersection between four way neighborhoods: Downtown Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights, Boerum Hill, and Carroll Gardens. While there haven’t yet been any “Gangs of New York” style territory street brawls, there probably will in the future in as more people discover just how amazingly cool the Brooklyn Wine Exchange really is.
Although, this violent clash of territorial possession is not necessarily inevitable. The folks down at the Wine Exchange are a pretty easy going bunch ready to serve all of Brooklyn, becoming not only a solid pillar of the community, but becoming a hub, or maybe a Mecca for would-be students from all over the borough. And since nobody wants to see the UN get involved in a Brooklyn dispute, we should all probably learn how to share.
To that end, we illustrate what we shall be sharing: daily free tastings, classes offered several days a week in the Learning Center, FREE DELIVERY to all of Brooklyn (and even Manhattan), and a serious commitment to finding delicious value wines to sell for under $12.
This isn’t everything, however. The Brooklyn Wine Exchange even provides membership options, with unsightly benefits and bonuses that we can’t even bring ourselves to list. If you must know, visit the website and see what ghastly schemes these guys have cooked up to get you hooked on the Exchange.
Just remember to play nice. Nobody wants blue hats running around the neighborhoods.
