Creativity is the key to making everything a higher quality. Whether it be writing a report, or thinking up an idea for high school film festival submission, it is the key factor to success. To get your creative juices flowing, begin by gaining an utmost state of relaxation, dim the lights, get a cool drink, and do whatever it is that can further relax you. Once you have achieved a relaxed state, begin to spout out any, and every idea out loud to yourself, or if you are with others, to them. Do not self censor, every idea deserves consideration, many times it is the most ludicrous ideas that turn out to be brilliant.
After you have what you deem enough ideas. Begin to weed out those that simply seem implausible. Not just because they seem ridiculous, but if they seem quite impossible to achieve. Think now about how you can actually put this idea into reality, ask yourself, Will it work? Will it make sense? How can i make sure it does work? If you are not brainstorming with anyone else at this point, it is a good time to talk to someone else, see if they can make total sense of what you are proposing, and if they like it in general. Continue working this process until you find one idea that stands out, something that just seems right. Now don’t just take this idea and run with it, use it as your main idea, but leave a few ideas to contribute to a main idea, or to use instead, if the first does not work. If these steps are followed, you should be able to create incredible ideas you never thought you might. Good Luck!
