Bye Weeks: Denver, Jacksonville, San Francisco, St. Louis, Tennessee, Washington
Safe Bets – If there is such a thing in this league of parity…
Chicago Bears – Anyone who’s picked the 0-7 Buffalo Bills to win this year has been wrong.
New Orleans Saints – The Saints pulled out a huge win over Pittsburgh last week. It looks like the super bowl champs have got their season turned around. You gotta like them this week against 1-6 Carolina
New England Patriots – This team looks stronger every week. Danny Woodhead has really gelled into the offense.
New York Giants – Right now it appears that the NYG and their outstanding defense are the cream of the NFC.
Green Bay Packers – East pick because the Dallas Cowboys have given up.
Closer Calls – Go with your gut…
San Diego Chargers – Phillip Rivers is having a fantastic year. Houston looked vulnerable last week in Indy.
New York Jets – Rex Ryan’s team will rebound with a strong performance after an embarrassing loss to Green Bay.
Baltimore Ravens – Miami might have beaten Cincinnati but they are not going to beat Baltimore.
Pittsburgh Steelers – The Steelers are going to be fired up on MNF after a tough loss to New Orleans.
Knuckle Balls – Who knows…
Atlanta Falcons – This is a surprising matchup because it is for first place in the NFC South. I hate picking against Tampa Bay because they somehow just keep winning, but Atlanta is undefeated at home and coming off a bye.
Kansas City Chiefs – The NFC West leaders are gunslingin’ in Oakland but I like 5-2 Kansas City over 4-4 Oakland.
Minnesota Vikings – The team is still in turmoil but this week they are at home versus Arizona.
Upsets – Embrace the underdog…
Philadelphia Eagles – Andy Reid always has his team ready to play out of the bye week. It’s a tough matchup against the Colts but the Eagles will take it in Philly.
