Kazoozles are making a big splash in the teen market! Wonka calls them “delickoricious”. The kids are calling them Kissoozles ( the kissing candy) because eating a Kazoozle from both ends of the rope will end up in a kiss. Could this be why they are selling like hotcakes? Not really. They taste fabulous!
Kazoozles are long ropes of fruit flavored licorice that is filled with a flavored soft and creamy candy that is just very slightly gritty with a punch of flavor. The double flavor blends well and is actually very good tasting. A serving is 130 calories. They are fat free but have 31 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of sugar and 80 mg Sodium.
Kazoozles come packaged in packages of two. Each two pack is sealed in a tear open package made of metalic colored thin mylar paper containing two of the same flavor ropes. You can choose between the Pink Lemonade flavor, which is two lemon ropes with a cherry filling or Cherry Punch, which is cherry flavored rope with a punch flavor filling. Each flavor packet has it’s own color, you will purchase either a blue package for the Cherry Punch or a pink one if you are purchasing the Pink Lemonade flavor. The Kazoozles logo is always a bright red in fun balloon letters. The official Wanka Logo is on the upper right corner in white letters on a purple triangle.
The Pink Lemonade has a very subtle twist and has a sour powdery covering. This gives it a burst of flavor from the first bite. It is also slightly bigger around (although slightly shorter) than the Cherry Punch. This is my favorite. The Cherry Punch tangy flavor is also just as popular. Which ever flavor, you will love Kazoozles!
The double rope package is designed well. It gives you one for yourself and one to share. Many people like to fling that extra rope to their friend to catch. By far the favorite way to eat them is share with your significient other and end up with a nice kiss. Delickoricious!
