The Situation tanked on “Dancing with the Stars” 11 premiere episode. In his first dance, the Cha Cha with Karina Smirnoff, ‘Sitch’ wasn’t so hot on the ballroom floor, doing dated dance moves. In the Sept. 20 “DWTS” episode, the judges told Sorrentino that he needs focused practice. With only five days of rehearsals, The Situation literally tanked in front of millions on the premiere. Good thing he’s confident!
Judges Told Him to Get it in Gear to Stay on “DWTS”
Len said Sorrentino has all the requirements of a good dancer – he’s young and fit. His only critique was the fact he was “under-rehearsed.” After Sorrentino made a remark to Len, Len told him that he had the “guns but no ammunition.” Sorrentino just laughed.
Bruno said he may or may not have talent, but it’s too early to tell. He made it clear to Sorrentino that to be competitive on “Dancing with the Stars” he has take it seriously and work at it. Don’t depend on ‘the situation’ reputation to get him all the way through.
Carrie Ann told him to get rid of the 80’s thing with the finger point, arm pumping moves. The Situation just nodded and hesitantly agreed she was right.
Get Rid of Old Moves and Practice, Practice, Practice
Will The Situation get better next week? Let’s hope this was the only performance on “DWTS” 11 he’ll tank on. He’s two weeks behind the other dancers in practice, but does he have the motivation to prove how good of a dance we know he really is?
He’ll probably avoid elimination on tonight’s “DWTS” episode because he’ll have the votes to keep him on the show. Sorrentino may have fans cut him slack for the limited practice sessions, but they want to see him win “DWTS” and he needs to kick it in gear. He won’t have reason to tank next time!
