This episode of the Ultimate Fighter will have two fights. This should whet our appetites for the rest of the season of the Ultimate Fighter 12. We are reminded the Ultimate Fighter is in Las Vegas like we are every week.
Skip to Koscheck making trouble at the Chiropractors office with Michael Johnson. Koscheck enjoyed making trouble with one of Georges St-Pierre’s fighters. I don’t think Josh Koscheck makes trouble for trouble; he just wants to put thoughts in the other fighter’s heads. Josh Koscheck’s fighters sit down with him and try to decide what the best fight is for their team.
Michael Johnson is in the house with the thoughts from Koscheck messing up his head. This is what Koscheck was looking for when he put the thoughts in Michael Johnson’s head. Team Koscheck makes it to the house and are still celebrating their first victory. This makes the other team grumpy. Koscheck takes advantage of the other team mentally. Michael Johnson acts like a punk and complains about Koscheck acting like a punk.
Fight Announcement-Mark Stevens vs. Cody McKenzie. Cody McKenzie is still giving Koscheck trouble. He slaps Koscheck in the face is a funny sort of way. Koscheck is a little grumpy about the flip in the face by Cody. I believe he actually thinks it is funny too.
Georges St-Pierre takes his team into the gym for a workout. Cody McKenzie is going to fight Mark Stevens. Mark Stevens is the fighter they call little Koscheck. This will be an interesting fight. Cody is ready for the fight. Georges thinks Cody will win because he is very strong mentally.
Josh Koscheck and Cody McKenzie talk in the gym. The two fighters talk about fighting each other in the future. Cody McKenzie is cocky, but Koscheck is a great MMA fighter. The two of them (going at it) makes the Ultimate Fighter show very interesting. This fight will show how good or bad Cody McKenzie is.
Fight One-Cody McKenzie vs. Mark Stevens-The teams come into the gym ready for the fight. Dana White talks about the fight. Dana White gives the edge to Mark Stevens while giving respect to both of the fighters.
Round One-The two fighters step into the ring. Cody has the height and reach advantage in this fight. Cody comes out kicking and punching. Mark Stevens takes him down and he is submitted immediately by a choke. Mark Stevens goes to sleep in under twenty seconds. Josh Koscheck is horrifies and Dana White is amazed. This was an incredible fight for Cody McKenzie. Georges St-Pierre is very happy. Georges St-Pierre tells him team not to celebrate over the win. He tells them not to disrespect the other team. Georges St-Pierre tells his team he is nice until he steps into the ring. When he steps in the ring it is time for him to pound on the other fighter.
Fight Announcement-Jonathan Brookins vs. Sevak Magakian-These two fighters respect each other. This should be a very good fight between Brookins and Magakian. Jonathan Brookins is the mellow fighter who likes competition. Georges St-Pierre says Brookins is a great wrestler who is learning how to be a better stand up fighter. Georges St-Pierre gets a cut on his head sparring with Jonathan Brookins. Sevak’s training also goes well. He has great punches, great wrestling, great Judo and good Ju-jitsu. He seems to be a very good fighter with heart.
The Fight- Jonathan Brookins vs. Sevak Magakian
Round One-The two fighters step into the ring. The two fighters are evenly matched. Brookins throws Magakian to the mat with force. He gets on Magakian’s back and tries to choke him. The two fighters fight for hand control. Brooking gets a choke on Magakian and Magakian taps out. This is another very quick fight. Dana White is amazed at how fast Brookins taps out Magakian. Dana White is flabbergasted. What a fight for Brookins. He is a great/quiet fighter.
Georges St-Pierre’s fighters make quick work of Josh Koscheck’s fighters. Georges St-Pierre really knows how to pick his fighters. The Ultimate Fighter 12 is becoming more interesting. The next episode will have the last preliminary fight. Will Josh Koscheck’s fighter win or will Georges St-Pierre’s fighter take out another fighter? Stay tuned to Spike TV every Wednesday night at Ten PM to see the Ultimate Fighter live.
