The show starts with a replay of the fight where Johnson won in the third round. They show the fighters reaction to the fight. Georges St-Pierre and his team sit down with Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson talks about confidence. Georges St-Pierre’s team learned good things from Mike Tyson.
Josh Koscheck decides it’s time for his team to get motivated. They are down 0-2 to Georges St. Pierre’s team and he wants his team to start winning. Josh Koscheck’s team is not down; they are pumped up and ready to begin winning. Josh Koscheck gives his team a pep talk. Some of Josh Koscheck’s team is angry with Bruce Lee-Roy. They think he is disrespectful. He does not act like a professional. He acts like a little kid. Bruce Lee-Roy fights back with constant cussing. Every year on the Ultimate Fighter there has to be a bad guy. The Ultimate Fighter 12 has Bruce Lee-Roy.
Georges St-Pierre picks Kyle Watson vs. Andy Main-This should be an interesting fight.
Josh Koscheck comes up with a funny idea, training in Speedos. He says since Georges St. Pierre wears Speedos, everybody should wear Speedos. Georges St-Pierre laughs, but he doesn’t fight back. I have gained a ton of respect for Georges St-Pierre during the Ultimate Fighter 12. He is respectful of everybody and does not cause any trouble. Georges St-Pierre does his job well and is unassuming.
Josh Koscheck gives Andy Main a pep talk. He is the youngest fighter in the group, but he has a chance to do something good. The motivation from Josh Koscheck is good. He seems to be a very good coach and leader. Georges St-Pierre and Josh Koscheck are both great coaches. They want their fighters to be their best.
Round One-The fighters come into the ring ready to fight. Dana White announces the fight. Main hits Watson with a good right. He hits him with another good right. Main gets the back of Watson. He actually jumps up on his back and begins to hit his face. The two fighters fight for wrist control. Kyle Watson holds on to Andy Main’s wrist, but Andy Main continues to hit Kyle Watson in the face. Advantage Andy Main so far. Kyle Watson gets on top with a minute and a half left to go in round one. Andy Main’s defense is very good. Kyle Watson throws some weak punches and connects with a couple of elbows. The first round should go to Andy Main.
Round Two-Andy Main hits Kyle Watson with a flurry of punches and knees at the beginning of round two. Kyle Watson gets Andy Main on the ground and begins to pound him. Andy Main shows his back and tries to get up. Kyle Watson keeps him on the ground. Kyle Watson takes the back of Andy Main. Kyle Watson puts Andy Main in a choke and easily chokes him out. It looked like Andy Main gave up in the second round. One wonders if he lost his confidence or ran out of energy. Team Georges St-Pierre is up 3-0. This was a pretty boring fight.
Hopefully the rest of the Ultimate Fighter 12 will be more entertaining. Good thing it is free on Spike TV every Wednesday night at Ten PM Eastern. Bruce Lee-Roy will be annoying another fighter next week on the Ultimate Fighter. Stay tuned and see if the next fight will be more fun.
