“The View” 10/14 episode had Bill O’Reilly on and when he told the truth, it hurt. His political views and opinion on Muslims attacking the U.S. ruffled a couple feathers on the show. The debate turned ugly when O’Reilly backed up his arguments. It appeared that the truth hurt.
“View” hosts, Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar were offended when O’Reilly voiced his own views on the President and a mosque planned to be near Ground Zero.
The Truth Hurt Two “View” Hosts
When Bill O’Reilly expressed that 70 percent of Americans are dissatisfied with President Obama’s way of handling the Muslim mosque issue in America, that was just the beginning. Joy Behar demanded to know what political polls Bill was talking about and when he grew tired of her interrupting him, he told her to be quiet so she could learn something. Behar made a gesture behind his head to the audience with her hand and called him a pinhead.
Muslim “Extremists,” but Still Muslims
“The View” debate changed the topic to terrorist attacks on 9/11. O’Reilly was making his point that the President refuses to stand up to how ethically wrong it is for Muslims to build a mosque near Ground Zero. Joy and Whoopi accused O’Reilly of not agreeing with Constitutional Rights, but O’Reilly was trying to get his point across that in good conscious it’s not a wise decision. He insisted Muslims killed Americans on 9/11, but Goldberg and Behar didn’t like his message, arguing it was extremists. The two hosts weren’t able to take the heat and left the stage.
How Was Bill O’Reilly Wrong in His Political Views?
How was Bill O’Reilly wrong in his political views and how he believed Muslims were involved that terrible day 10 years ago? Yes, the terrorists were extremists, but they were Muslim extremists. Is it not true 70 percent of Americans don’t like our political world right now and are unhappy with President Obama?
Bill O’Reilly is ultra controversial because of his conservative views in the political world, but he steps out and reveals the truth of what’s really going on. He examines both sides in a predominately liberal media universe. There’s a reason why “The O’Reilly Factor” is the most highly rated show on television. Usually the hosts on “The View” can’t handle the truth and they may be doing themselves a favor by leaving the stage.
