As everyone gathered at the Chancellor estate to comfort Nina and reflect on Chance’s life, Chloe was in a very bad way. Kevin tried to snap her out of her “pity party” but she seemed to be stuck in the mourning mud so deeply that he could not extract her. He was able to persuade her to get dressed and join the other mourners at Catherine’s.
Neal, Tucker and Sophia were having a business meeting and Neal shredded to pieces a proposal that Sophia had made for an investment in Australia. Malcolm quite conveniently showed up at the peak of the argument between Neal and his fiancé and confronted his brother. Tucker told them “Why can’t you both just get along”? He explained that he values both of them and want them to find a way to work together. Sophia asked Malcolm to back off Neal and let her handle him because she needed to find a way to work with him. I suspect that she will end up sticking it to Neal to get ahead and show herself in a good light in Tucker’s eye. Either I predict she will sleep with Neal or she will set him up so that she can step all over his career and mash him into the ranks of the unemployed club from boss man Tucker.
Back at the Newman estate, Nikki was slipped another “betrayal cocktail” from the dark haired demon Maggie; this time she put the liquor in the ice tea and fortunately Nikki only took a couple of sips but the “baby steps” as Maggie the witch call them are beginning to take their toll on Nikki. She is having more frequent and more intense headaches. She also is starting to state at others drinking liquor as her fellow sister in recovery and dear friend Catherine noticed.
Billy and Victoria went to pay their respects and as Victoria was talking to Delia, here comes Chloe and Kevin. Chloe hastily walked to Billy, grabbed Delia from Billy’s arms and ranted something about she was not having it. Victoria she said was not Delia’s stepmother and she would never replace Chance. Billy defended Victoria and said that Victoria was indeed Delia’s step mom. Victor asked Victoria if she had heard the news that he turned himself in to the Department of Justice (DOJ) as the person that bribed the Japanese official, letting her off the hook. Victor was expecting gratitude from Victoria but instead did not get the cold shoulder but the freezer from Victoria. She said that she could not forgive him for ruining her wedding day.
Abby arrived at the estate and told her uncle Jack that she was dropping her law suit against her daddy “take no prisoners, collateral damage I don’t give a you know what” Newman. After witnessing what Victor did to Victoria Abby decided that she was not going to risk the wrath of her father. Jack of course was very disappointed and quite ticked off as he was using his niece to get try and get back at Victor. Tucker also heard this news and tried to manipulate Abby’s thinking with one of his “when I was young, I took risk and that is why I am where I am today stories”. “The Naked Heiress” seems to be reconsidering her decision.
Nikki’s headache became severe enough that she asked Victor if they could return home and it was just in time to save Victor and Jacks form going at each other as Victor warned Jack to stay away from Abby and that his attempt to use Abby against him had backfired. When Nikki and Victor returned to the ranch, Nikki poured a glass of liquor but returned it to the decanter before taking a sip as the demon Maggie secretly watched her. Maggie asked if she could get Nikki anything and Nikki asked for some more iced tea that is sure to be laced with Vodka. Catherine nearly passed out and everyone asked her to sit down.
I do not believe that Chance is dead. I believe that he and Ronan plotted his death to get big guy over Owen. If that were not the case why would Ronan be concerned and say to Owen “If I do down, you go down”?. Truly an FBI agent would not say such a thing. Also the paramedics really spent no time pronouncing Chance dead. Let me know what you think? Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
