We are caught up in our own world of worries and stress…it is true!
When my alarm-clock start to wake me up I am already stressed, or little things could get me mad…I was always wondering why we get stressed so much that would influence our life?
Few months ago, I was doing some research and I would read, and read, and …on the end, I was confused. Why? Well, I did not know where to start, did I made mistake prior, what I am going to do….all those questions went through my head. I went in the bed as usual, very late; got up in the morning and I was angry because I did not have goodnight sleep. Then realize I have to start thinking about myself, what is my goal and purpose in life. Pulled my dusty yoga mat and started exercise at 7 in the morning. I said dusty because I forgot that I need to work out, got tons of other things on my mind and the last one was exercise.
Let me tell you, great morning workout can change your day, can change how you thing about yourself, can calm you down because you are releasing bad energy.
#1 is to get good night sleep,
#2 to get some kind of activity; walking, jogging, dance,gardening..just to name a few
#3 Drink enough of H2O
#4 Eat right
If you ask me, I love good workout. You get tired, your hearth start pumping, you cannot catch your breath, but you keep going to achieve that goal, whatever might be. I told you in previous post that I lost bunch of pounds after my second child. Billy Banks DVD (booth camp & 8 min. workout) save my life, why I am saying save my life…because I was overweight, I had a chance to get obese, potentiality hearth disease and diabetes…all those was screaming at me before I started to get myself healthy and in a right direction. I am not trying sell here some pills, or get rich of what I went through, but to help others be what they can be, and get healthy, so you can choose what is right for you. Like I said in one of mine previous title “Diet and Healthy Choices”
You are worth it, you can do it, and if you cannot exercise then just walk…just walking will get you motivated, so you will start to do more and more.
You need good support from family and friends, and stop with excuses.
Walking daily can actually help you get rid of the pain, because you are strengthening your muscles, and by getting stronger will help you with the pain in a long run.
Everything again brings us back to the cooking. If you take time and cook your meals at home, you will see the difference in yourself. When you develop that love of cooking, you will also get yourself in a healthy stage. However, I do not mean by cooking pull that box from the freezer and place it in a microwave; I mean fresh meals made out of the scratch. This is important as much as exercise. You will know what you are putting in your food; you can use less sugar, salt or oil. When you go and eat out you do not see that, your taste buds speak for them self. It is delicious and I do not care what is in it? However, you should…
I eat out occasionally, and I do every now and then reword myself with nice hamburger, or chicken strips, but also I work extra hard to be healthy, and I am cooking home every day, regardless if I will go out or not. There is other thing, most of the time when I go to the restaurant I choose good nutritious meal that would not be guilty pleasure down the lane, but still tasty and satisfying.
I do not have heart disease, diabetes, I am not obese, I do not take any medication, and I am healthy and happy woman in my own skin. I am not 110 Lbs.; I have 152 pounds, and love myself. When I was 128 lbs., does not make me any happier then I am now. The reason is that you learn to give yourself a credit, give yourself love for doing the best you can. I had a third child, more responsibility, and other things that keep you from reaching your goal. I have learned to love myself; to love the way I look; to love my lifestyle, and of course love to eat and cook. Most of all I am making my life to go in a right path, because I am creator. I am choosing the way I want to go…I put myself in a bad position before thinking there is no way out, and there is always way out…”there is always bright light on the end of the tunnel!” just remember that. If you are 250, 200 lbs., more or less than that, there is always way to get yourself in the right direction.
