According to an article published by NYDailyNews.com, Adolf Hitler may be of Jewish and African descent. Reportedly the DNA of thirty-nine of Hitler’s descendants has been tested and the results suggest that he may have had both Jewish and African relatives.
A Belgium-based magazine called “Knack” has claimed that it took saliva samples of thirty-nine descendants of Hitler, who now reside in Europe and America. This was reportedly done through work by a historian named Marc Vermeeren and it was allegedly determined that the samples contained a chromosome called Haplopgroup E1b1b (Y-DNA). According to Vermeeren, this particular chromosome is rare in Western Europe and is usually found in Morocco, Algeria and Libya. It is also found in Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews. If this proves to be true, then Adolph Hitler was actually a byproduct of all that he despised and wanted to destroyed.
Apparently, this is not the first realization that Hitler may have had Jewish people in his family. There has been some speculation that his grandfather may have been Jewish, yet there is no scientific proof of this fact.
According to reports from both AOLNews.com (http://www.aolnews.com/story/dna-casts-doubt-on-hitler-suicide-story/690447?) and Guardian.CO.UK.com (http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/sep/27/adolf-hitler-suicide-skull-fragment), the skill fragments that were believed to belong to the Nazi leader for many years may not have been his at all and it is actually the skull of a woman.
DNA testing revealed that this skull fragment, which is full of bullet holes, may have belonged to a woman under the age of forty and Hitler would have been in his mid to late fifties at the time of his death. This fact was discovered by researchers at the University of Connecticut.
For years it’s been believed that Adolph Hitler died by suicide after ingesting cyanide in a bunker in Berlin when he became aware that Allied Forces were taking control and his mistress, Eva Braun, committed suicide with him. After they died, their bodies were shrouded in blankets, soaked in gas and set on fire in a bomb crater near the bunker. Researchers do not believe that the skill believed to belong Hitler could belong to Eva Braun. Apparently, many people were killed in the area, so the skull could have belonged to any of several people who died nearby.
Historians have long-speculated that the Hitler/Braun suicide story was not true and the story was fabricated to make Hitler seem like a hero, rather than the horrific beast that he was.
It has been sixty-four years since Hitler’s death and there is still no clear picture as to what really happened. Surely, the truth will not change history nor bring back those lost, but perhaps it can provide some kind of closure and possibly an understanding of what motivated Hitler to manifest the worst and most brutal kind of pure hatred.
