I have created, after testing many apps, a list of the top five for anyone interested in music. They are in order from worst to best, and have been chosen because of usability, accuracy, price, and many other factors.
5. Alarm Clock
This might not seem like a music app, but, unless you have an iHome, it is extremely useful. Alarm Clock allows you te set an alarm to wake up to or a track to go to sleep, but what is special is that you can use your iPod music instead of a default alarm sound.
4. tap tap revenge
This is a game, almost like a guitar hero or rock band for the iTouch/iPhone. You can download virtually any track you want, and many of them have their own themes to play to.
3. Pandora Radio
In this app, you create “radio stations” based on a certain song or artist, such as you might have a Green Day station. That station will play Green Day songs plus any songs within the same category as Green Day. You give each song a thumbs up or thumbs down, and the app will eventually form itself to play only songs you like!
Vevo is an app in which you can watch any music video in HD and for free!
And for the #1 app, Soundhound. This is a remarkable app, for if you hear a song playing on the radio or you have a song stuck in your head, it can figure out the name of it and can send you straight to iTunes or YouTube to buy/listen to it. All you do is turn on the app and let it listen to the song for a few seconds!
I hope you try and enjoy these apps!
