Considering royalty and common folk alike, here are my picks for the top ten most beautiful Disney women who act as heroines in some form or another.
10. Anita from 101 Dalmatians
Pongo was admittedly biased in trying to set up Roger and Anita so the canine could get Perdita for his own, but it all worked out in the end. Anita’s looks were good enough to get Roger’s attention and her compassionate personality and incredible sense of humor were good enough for him to stay around.
9. Snow White
Being able to put up living with, cooking for and cleaning up after seven men is a noble act–and to be able to look good while doing it is just icing on the cake.
As the determined little wannabe warrior that could, Mulan brought honor to her family name–and took away a desirable piece of war memorabilia in the form of Shang. Even though she hid her fairness for a time for the good of her nation, there’s no denying Mulan’s beauty.
7. Meg from Hercules
Megara may not have started out with the best reputation, but she came around by the end. Hercules never seemed all that phased either way. Is it because he really is a Wonder Boy or is just that Meg really is that beautiful?
It’s hard to watch her titular film and not come away thinking Pocahontas is beyond gorgeous. She may have had other priorities than John Smith in the end, but that guy still was a lucky man.
Although she was willing to settle for a diamond in the rough, Jasmine had the pedigree and looks to nab just about anyone.
Even though I prefer mermaids–and everyone else, for that matter–to wear more than a string bikini, I can’t negate Ariel’s natural beauty. That Little Mermaid sure is a looker.
Cinderella may have benefited from her Fairy Godmother’s help in getting things together in the end before the big royal ball, but all Prince Charming really had to see was one look at the maid’s beautiful face before making up his mind. Let’s face it: when she’s got it, she’s got it.
If you’re a Disney heroine and your nickname is “Beauty,” you know you have a place on a top-ten list like this. The stunning brunette reminds gentleman that blonde isn’t necessarily where it’s at.
1. Princess Aurora
With gold of sunshine locks and lips that shame the red rose, is it any wonder why Aurora tops our list? Whether you call her Princess, Briar-Rose or Sleeping Beauty, she’s still just as glamorous and gorgeous.
