Trapt has long since been one of my top five favorite bands, to me they have well rounded CD’s. CD’s that you never have to skip a song or go searching for the one or two great ones. With Trapt it is hard to choose a top ten list, here is my best shot, that’s not to say it wont change by tomorrow.
Trapt is well deserving and it is sad to see they are so underrated. One of the bests bands, in my opinion, that are out there right now making music. Chris Browns vocals and the bands talent for music puts Trapt up there on my favorite music play list.
Trapt’s newest CD No Apologies is due to be released October 12, 2010. Available for Pre-order on Amazon for just under twelve dollars. The preview of this CD sounds just as great as their previous three CD’s, I am eagerly anticipating the release date.
Who’s Going Home With You Tonight? from the third studio release CD, Only Through the Pain. The song was frequently played on the radio and helped boost Trapt’s fan base.
Headstrong from Trapt’s self titled CD. The song that won me over and had me wanting more. The perfect song for rocking out in your car.
Contagious from the Only Through the Pain CD. A powerful song about someone caring for someone and not knowing what to do with yourself.
Echo from their self titled CD Trapt. The slow start to the song gets me and pulls me right in. A beautiful song with lyrics that say how he needs to let go of his pride.
Victim from Someone In Control their second studio release. The song most people can relate to. Talking about wanting to be someones victim.
Lost Realist from Someone In Control. Just the lyrics “Why do I rush to slow down. Why do I rush to slow down everything” speak in such volumes.
Disconnected (Out Of Touch) from Someone In Control. A great song about relationships with the feelings of being disconnected and out of touch. Disconnected also talks about how it is hard to move past and easier to stay in a relationship that is not working.
Cover Up from Only Through the Pain. A favorite song of mine since it is about people hiding their true selves. The music hits just right and the lyrics, as with all Trapt songs, have me thinking of deeper meaning.
Forget About the Rain from Only Through the Pain. A more positive side of Trapt lyrics and I have to say it is inspiring. Telling you to hold on to the good days and let go of the days that do not go so great. Forget about the Rain is telling you to keep your chin up.
Sound Off newest, forth studio release No Apologies, as stated above this CD will be released October 12, 2010. The message is loud and clear, make your voice heard. Trapt’s newest song is no disappointment, showing how the band is growing and changing. If you have not seen the music video for Sound Off you can watch it on You Tube.
All songs are available for download on Amazon.
