After being a cake decorator and caterer for over six years in Utah, I have compiled a list of my favorite florists to work with to help give brides a head start in the search process. There are numerous vendors available, especially in a place like Utah, but having a vendor that is recommended by others can let you know that you are getting a quality florist, over a mediocre one.
#1 Starlight Rain
Starlight Rain, headed by Ashley Francis, has been a florist I have worked with for several years now. Her floral arrangements are by far some of the best I have seen. They are elegant, colorful and expertly placed together. Instead of your generic bouquets, Ashley takes it a step ahead and gives you a unique look that you just cannot find anywhere else. For more information you can visit Starlight Rain at www.starlight-rain.blogspot.com.
#2 Take Your Pick Floral
Take Your Pick Floral, owned and operated by Megan Davis, is another florist I have worked with for several years. In fact, one of my prize cakes from the Utah Bridal Expo has her floral work on it. Megan has a creative flare to her floral arrangements that I have never seen before. She can take some of the most simplest flowers and create works of art through them. She also has a knack for being able to work out just about any floral arrangement into your budget. For more information, visit www.takeyourpickfloral.com.
#3 In Full Bloom
Another one of my favorite florists in Utah is In Full Bloom. They are located in the heart of Salt Lake City and offer a variety of floral arrangements that can fit any wedding budget. Their florists are trained in event coordination, which means they will guarantee you have an arrangement to suit the entire theme of your wedding. You can visit them at infullbloomonline.com for more information as well.
Though there are numerous vendors in Utah for floral work, these are my top three picks. I have worked with each one of these vendors on a frequent basis and seen their work ethic, their product, and their pride in what they do in person on several occasions. If you are looking for a quality florist in Utah, these may be some of the ones you want to visit first. Though it can be a lot easier to just go to a large chain florist, just remember that the customized and unique feeling will not be there in your bouquets and floral arrangements. Most custom florists cost just as much (if not less) than a chain florist. So never fear that your budget cannot get you the gorgeous flowers you see in magazines.
