Halloween. The most bewitching time of the year. I started buying things two months ago and was like a kid in a candy store when I saw some of the new items from Wilton. The “Creepy Sprinkles” decorating set contains four test tube styled plastic containers with four different sprinkles in them. My favorite, off course, has to be the edible candy bones. The other three are basic sprinkles in two-color assortments (black and green chocolate jimmies, green, black and orange jimmies and orange and black sugar).

Wilton Product # 710-1055
This is an incredibly easy to use product that can be applied to cakes, cupcakes, cookies frosted with royal icing, brownies and pretty much anything edible. All four of these assortments are sold separately if you run short of one of them or like the color blend. I love the fact that you are getting jimmies, colored sugar and bones with this. For the casual baker or seasonal baker it is nice to have on hand for decorating a batch or two of cupcakes. If you have a lot of things to decorate then this is not the most cost effective way to go.
If you have kids that like to help out in the kitchen this is a great product to get for them to use. The test tube format gives it a little bit of a spooky feel and when they are empty you can use them for other things around the house or for decoration. Getting a variety of different sprinkles in one kit is nice but I do have to warn you, there is only enough sprinkles to do a couple of matches of cupcakes so this is not something that you are going to want to buy for large projects. There’s a little over an ounce of each of the items except the bones. If you are a coupon shopper be sure to take advantage of the 40% and 50% off coupons that Jo-Ann Fabrics and Michaels have in their adverts. You can use them on regular priced items but finding these in stock will be tricky at local stores.
