Happy 17th birthday to Angus T. Jones, who is more popularly known as Jake Harper on Two and a Half Men. The precocious character who plays Charlie Sheen’s nephew and son to Jon Cryer just signed a deal with CBS to appear in 26 episodes (minimum) plus a $500,000 signing bonus.
The math yields a figure of $7.8 million over the next two seasons; however, the deal is even sweeter as CBS has guaranteed 48 episodes over the next two seasons thus Jones stands to make $14.4 million.
Angus T. Jones turns 17 today and thus, as a minor, his contract first had to be approved by a judge in a Los Angeles Superior Court.
If you’re curious as to what Charlie Sheen rakes in, TMZ reported that the oft-troubled actor makes $2 million per episode, which nets $52 million for the next two seasons.
TMZ also reported in May, 2010 that Cryer should earn around $20 million during the next two seasons.
