Mark your calendars for one or more of four excellent readings slated for next week at The Booksmith.
— Skip Horack is reading from his new book, “The Eden Hunter” on Tuesday, Sept. 21.
— Rachel Saunders will be hosting a jam tasting and jam talk to promote her new book, “The Blue Chair Jam Cookbook” on Wednesday, Sept. 22.
— Garin Hovannisian will be reading from his new book “Family of Shadows: A Century of Murder, Memory and the Armenian American Dream” on Friday, Sept. 24.
— Daniel Kehlmann will read from his new novel, “Fame: A Novel in Nine Episodes” on Saturday, Sept. 25.
All readings start at 7:30 p.m. and they are, as always, free of charge.
If you’ve got little ones, bring them by the shop on Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. for Storytime with Lauren O. It’s Funky Fairy Tales day!
If you haven’t stopped in yet, The Booksmith is located at 1644 Haight. They’re open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. if you’d like to browse the shelves.
