Utz Reduced Fat Sour Cream and Onion potato chips have 33 percent less fat compared to their regular rippled potato chips. Only problem is, you may feel tempted to eat 33 percent more of these chips!
I love the Utz brand since I went to the Utz potato chip factory on a field trip as a child living in Maryland. I am always sure to buy Utz when I visit my mother in North Carolina. They sell Utz in her town at Harris Teeter grocery store.
I was curious to see how the Utz reduced fat chips compared to their regular kind. It’s not wise to eat junk food on a diet , but the Utz reduced fat chips and other low fat potato chips are fine in moderation.
The reduced fat Utz sour cream and onion have the same look, but they don’t have as strong of a flavor. Everyone in the family could not figure out why the reduced fat kind were more bland. As far as the fat side of things, I could not tell a difference. I’d never guess they were lower in fat.
It’s hard to find potato chips with no MSG, especially in the sour cream and onion flavor. Utz chips are the best potato chips with no MSG.
