I don’t think I’m a fan of any fragrance by Versace. To me, they are just too cheap scented. They smell like the fake versions of designer fragrances.
Versace Bright Crystal is not different. It smells kind of cheap, but maybe that’s because it’s a toilette, not a parfum. So I understand why it’s lighter in scent.
There are some notes in this fragrance that is pleasant. It actually smells like the fake version of Estee Lauder Pleasures, called “Plentiful”. I didn’t like Plentiful or Pleasures, but it’s a nice smell.
But a first sniff, this perfume smells like grass. Not gross smelling grass, but fresh grass. But it wasn’t a scent I wanted to wear.
Once it sets in, the scent gets soft and powdery, just like “Plentiful”. It actually does smell sort of bright and sparkly, so I like that it’s called Bright Crystal, but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you like light scents. I’m into strong perfumes, so this won’t work for me.
I give it 3 out of 5 stars. It’s $67 for 1.7 oz.
