Nestled in lovely Birmingham is a treasure trove of nostalgia. The Birmingham Historical Park and Museum with it’s circa 1822 John West Hunter House and 1928 Allen House currently exhibit John Scripps Booth: The Artist & Engineer. Founding Father of Cranbrook, Booth was a pioneer in art and automotive engineering. The Birmingham Historical Park and Museum is hosting an exhibit dedicated to the life and work of John Scripps Booth that runs until October 30, 2010. Situated in the lovely, sloping riverbank John West Hunter Historic Park, the Birmingham Historical Museum, Hunter House and Allen House are open from 1-4 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for museum members, students and seniors. The BHPM is located at 556 West Maple Road in Birmingham.
