There were seven “fight without weapons” calls made in the Lower Haight to the San Francisco Police Department on Oct. 9. The call at Van Ness Avenue and Market was cancelled before officers were dispatched to the scene. Perpetrators at calls at Pierce and Oak, Fillmore and Waller, and the 800 block of Oak were all gone when the police arrived. It was deemed that there was no merit to the call at 400 block of Pierce Street.
There was one gun-related police call at 10:48 p.m. The person with the gun was arrested at South Van Ness Avenue and Market. At 1:41 a.m., a robbery occurred at the 800 block of Haight Street and a police report was prepared.
