Tara was so worried about her sister that she could hardly pat attention at work. That was why she kept dropping food before she could take them to the customers and tripping on her own feet. Her manager asked if there was anything wrong, but Tara said she was fine. After that the girl started working more proficiently.
During her shift she heard news about the fight from customers and employees, but the results were unknown. Finally after the girl’s shift she caught the last part of a news report concerning the fight.
Viridian Ranger had beaten the mechanical spider.
Tara wanted to cheer when she heard the news, but kept it in. That didn’t stop her from smiling proudly for her sister.
Tara got home moments later after stopping at the super market. After putting the groceries away she started working on dinner, but before she could start cooking the girl heard a light knocking on her front door.
“Coming.” Tara said. When the girl opened the door she saw another girl standing on the other side. This girl had long black hair, dark brown eyes, small rounded shoulders and perky breasts. The girl was garbed in a long sleeved, pink shirt. Blue jeans shorts and white sandals on her feet. The girl was very cute.
“Hi.” The girl said, smiling warmly. “My name is Brittany. I was hoping I could talk to you about Viridian Ranger.”
Tara felt her heart skip a beat. Sweat appeared on her forehead. “Viridian Girl?” She asked, smiling and laughing nervously.
“I said Viridian Ranger.” Brittany said, correcting the girl. “I was hoping to talk to you about her.”
“I’m sorry, but I don’t know anything.” Tara said.
“Is she home?” Brittany asked.
“No.” Tara said, then gasped. “I mean she doesn’t live here!”
“Is she related to you?” Brittany asked.
“What do you want?” Tara asked, laughing nervously and closing her eyes.
“Viridian Ranger’s autograph.” Brittany said. “Is she your sister? You know the short haired brunette.”
Tara opened her eyes and then narrowed them at the girl. Tara swiftly moved forwards and grabbed Brittany’s hands and yanked her inside. The girl pulled Brittany so hard that her sandals flew off her feet.
Tara tossed Brittany effortlessly to the ground and then sat on her back. Reaching into a drawer she removed a long, slack of rope and tied the girl’s hands behind her back. The girl would have hogtied Brittany, but she didn’t have enough rope.
“What do you know?!” Tara demanded.
“Nothing!” Brittany cried.
Tara dug her fingers into Brittany’s sides and began tickling mercilessly. Brittany burst into ticklish laughter. She tried to wriggle free, but Tara’s weight kept her firmly in place. Tara wiggled her fingers up and down Brittany’s ticklish sides, she poked the girl’s ribs and then reached behind her and attacked the girl’s thighs.
Brittany kicked her feet wildly and tried to buck Tara off of her, but it was all in vain.
“What do you know?!” Tara demanded.
“STOP IT!” Brittany cried. “I’M… SO… TICKLISH!” The girl struggled to speak, but found it increasingly difficult.
“I’ll stop when you start talking!” Tara said. The girl turned on Brittany’s back and grabbed both of the girl’s feet using one arm. Hugging them close to her chest the girl began attacking both of Brittany’s feet at the same time.
Brittany’s laughter grew hysterical and her struggles grew desperate.
“P-PLEASE… NO MORE!” The girl cried. Brittany’s cheeks were bright red and her lips were curled in a goofy grin.
Tara stopped tickling for a moment. Reaching into another drawer the girl removed a fork. When she had it in her hand she began slowly raking it over the tender soles.
The fork caused Brittany to howl with ticklish laughter and kick her feet harder, but Tara was more powerful then she was. “PLEASE… I… I DON’T KNOW ANYTHING!” She screamed.
“Liar!” Tara cried. “And I’m not stopping until you tell me everything you know!”
Tara flew around the city for a few hours making sure there weren’t any other robots attacking the city. When the girl was satisfied everything was fine she headed home. Landing in the yard the girl removed her helmet, like always her outfit vanished and the helmet turned back into the circular device.
“Hey sis!” Sarah cried, running into the house. “I’m…” Sarah stopped talking when she saw Tara tickling a strange girl on the floor of the kitchen.
“HELP ME!” The strange girl cried.
“Sister…” Sarah began.
“I…” Tara began, looking up at Sarah. The girl struggled to find the right words. “I panicked!”
“So why did you kidnap this girl?” Sarah asked.
“I didn’t kidnap her!” Tara cried.
“Yes you did!” The strange girl cried.
“You shut up!” Tara snapped and with that she began tickling the girl’s feet again with the fork.
Sarah moved forwards and grabbed the fork out of Tara’s hand. “Sis!” Tara cried. “Stop it!”
“But she…” Tara began.
“She kidnapped me! Call the police!” The strange girl cried.
“SHUT UP!” Tara snapped and with that she began tickling the poor girl’s feet with her fingers.
Sarah sighed and rolled her eyes. “SISTER!” The girl cried, grabbing Tara’s hand and pulling it away from the girl’s feet. “Knock it off or I’ll punish you!”
Tara took a deep breath. “Alright…” She said, nodding.
Sarah went to her knees so she could look into her sisters eyes. “Tell me what’s going on.”
Tara nodded again. “Brittany… This girl.” Tara said, gesturing towards the strange girl’s bare feet. “She came here asking about Viridian Ranger. She knows it’s you.”
“How?” Sarah asked.
Brittany looked over her shoulder at Sarah. “Will you let me go if I tell you?” She asked.
“Get off her!” Sarah said, pushing Tara gently off the girl. When Tara climbed off Brittany’s back Sarah began untying the girl. “Of course you can go.”
“Thanks.” Brittany said, rolling onto her back. “Listen… I saw you two talking before that robot attacked the city. I saw you running down an alleyway.” Brittany began, pointing at Sarah. “Then Viridian Ranger appeared. I just figured it was you.”
“I see…” Sarah said, her voice trailed.
“How did you know where we lived?” Tara asked.
“I… Followed you home.” Brittany said.
Tara grabbed the rope out of Sarah’s hand. “Spying on me? I’ll punish you for that!”
Brittany rolled onto her stomach and began scampering away. “That’s enough Tara!” Sarah cried, wrapping her arms around Tara’s waist. “Leave her alone!”
“But…” Tara said. The girl wanted to argue. She wanted to punish Brittany more, but knew her sister was right. The girl nodded her head and dropped the rope. “I’m sorry Brittany, but you have to understand. This is my kid sister. If anything happened to her…”
“I just wanted to meet her. She’s my hero!” Brittany said.
“I am?” Sarah said, blushing. “I’m your hero?”
“Yeah.” Brittany said, nodding. “I didn’t think you’d remember me, but you saved me!”
“I did?” Sarah said, trying to remember. “I don’t remember doing anything like that.”
“You did. I was in the bank vault when it was being robbed! You saved me and my little brother!” Brittany said. “I wanted to thank you, but I didn’t have a chance. It was also my little brother who asked who you were.”
Sarah’s lower jaw dropped. “I remember now! I ‘m so sorry I didn’t remember.”
“No.” Brittany said, shaking her head. “You’ve helped so many people. I don’t expect you to remember me.” The girl got to her feet. “Can I do something?” She asked.
Sarah was so flattered by what the girl had said that she agreed without thinking about it. Brittany walked over to Sarah, dropped to her knees and wrapped her arms around the girl. “Thank you for saving me.” She said.
Sarah nodded. “You’re welcome.”
Brittany promised she wouldn’t reveal Viridian Ranger’s true identity to anyone. Even though Tara said she trusted the girl she couldn’t help, but feel nervous. “If she does tell on me…” Sarah began, chuckling. “We can always fly away.” The girl said, holding up the white, circular object.
“That’s true… Sis…” Tara began.
“It’s ok.” Sarah said, leaning her head on her sisters right shoulder. “Thanks for always looking out for me.”
“Yeah.” Tara said, blushing.
