With the Vivvo CMS software, you have the option of adding users to your site. These users can be allowed many different permissions. You can assign users to be admins, authors, and other things for your site. In this tutorial, I will walk you through the steps of creating new site users in Vivvo CMS. Logging in to the admin panel is your first step.
Loading Your Site User Page in Vivvo CMS
To get started, you will need to load the Users Page. This is the page where you will create your users and manage your users. You can open this page by clicking the Users button at the top of your admin panel. When the User page loads, you should see one user, which will be you, admin.
Creating a New Site User in Vivvo CMS
You are now ready to start creating your site users in Vivvo CMS. On the right side of your page, find the Add New User button. Click the button and the page will reload. On this page, you will see the options for creating a new user for your site.
When creating the new user, you do not have to fill in all of the fields. However, there are some fields that must be filled in. The required fields are First and Last Name, Nickname, Email, and Password. All of the other fields are optional.
After you have filled in the fields to create the new user, you will need to set the user’s privileges. The privileges are in the Options box on the left. Go through the box and click the privileges you want the user to have. If you need to select more than one privilege, you can hold down the CRTL key.
If you want to go ahead and set the user to active, you can tick the Active option in the status box. If you want to wait until later, you can leave it on Inactive. When you are finished with everything, you can click the Save button in the bottom right corner of the box. The user will be created and added to your Vivvo CMS site.
