If you missed tonight’s MTV 2010 VMA Awards, you may be wondering about some things. For example, you may wonder who won the MTV 2010 VMA awards for Best Pop Video, Best Hip Hop and of course, Video of the Year. Here, find a semi-complete 2010 VMA award winners list!
Truth be told, it isn’t that long or varied of a list. Lady Gaga was the 2010 VMA Awards biggest winner, her video “Bad Romance” having been awarded a total of six VMA Awards between the main VMA awards show and the professional VMA Awards. Lady Gaga herself took home the 2010 VMA awards for Best Female Artist, Best Pop Video and Video of the Year for her hit, “Bad Romance”. Eminem also won more than once during tonight’s ceremony, winning Best Hip Hop Video and Best Male Artist for his hit single “Not Afraid”.

Jared Leto’s band 30 Seconds To Mars took home Best Rock Video for their single “Kings and Queens” at the 2010 VMA Awards tonight. One fan, Sean, said he felt Muse deserved the Moonman more for their video, “Uprising”. He said he also thought the 2010 VMA awards host, comic and TV personality Chelsea Handler, put on a hot-and-cold show. “Some of her jokes fell flat, and you could tell. I liked the Justin Bieber hairpiece skit. The Jersey Shore bit was good, too.”

The moment being referenced is a moment during the 2010 VMA Awards when host Chelsea Handler joined the cast of MTV’s Jersey Shore in an on-stage jacuzzi, fully clothed, only to emerge moments later knocked-up, with a torn top and a plastic belly protruding a foot in front of her.

B.o.B. and Hayley Williams of the band Paramore performed “Airplanes, and did a rather good job. R&B star Mary J. Blige showed her still-strong vocals and always-stylish stage presence when she joined Drake and Swizz Beatz on the 2010 VMA Awards stage. Linkin Park and Usher also played good sets, and Aidan W. of Tucson thought Justin Bieber’s act was “So great!”.
Kanye West performed as well, and was the subject of several jokes and mini-skits throughout the evening. The 2010 VMA Awards went off without a hitch, unlike last year’s Kanye and Taylore Swift debacle. Taylor Swift performed a great set on the VMA stage this year, but did not win. She was up for Best Female Video; Lady Gaga won this category.
During her acceptance speech for winning the 2010 VMA Award for Video of the Year, Lady Gaga revealed to her Little Monsters (fans) that her new album will be titled “Born This Way”, and sang a little ditty, possibly from an upcoming track.
