Avenidas Volunteers Corps has a number of programs and volunteer positions that are sure match your interests. Perhaps you like working with children? Then tutoring children in Avenidas’ Early Literacy Program might be for you. If you’re a wiz with computers then teaching Mac or PC classes might be right up your alley. If you would like to spend more time with seniors who would like some company during the day, becoming a volunteer at the Avenidas Rose Kleiner Senior Day Health Center. Other various tasks include providing transportation to appointments, calling people to wish them a happy birthday, various administrative tasks, and more.
