Imagine coming from work and a stranger walks up to you and pour acid in your face?
Bethany Storro recently went through this vicious ordeal. She was “a pretty brunette who was celebrating a new job and a new start when she was approached by a total stranger who then threw a cup of acid in her face.”
The woman asked Bethany if she wanted a drink. Then the stranger threw the acid on her.
Bethany said the culprit was a black woman in her 20s, wore her hair in a ponytail, and had on Khaki pants.
Fortunately, Bethany had purchased sunglasses twenty minutes before the incident. If not, her eyes would have burnt, leaving her blind.
The 28-year-old said she had an urge to buy those glasses that day even though she normally does not wear sunglasses.
Bethany explained that once the substance splashed against her, she felt her skin begin to bubble. “It was the most painful thing ever…My heart stopped. It ripped through my clothing the instant it touched my shirt; I could feel it burning through my second layer of skin.”
According to Bethany the girl looked weird and jealous. She also does not know the black woman. Nevertheless, she said she will forgive her attacker.
Bethany is recovering in a hospital in Vancouver, Washington. Her healing will definitely be agonizing.
Others are being hurt with acid
Some Muslim women in the Middle East are attacked this way as well. When those women refuse to marry someone or request for a divorce, their scorned husbands pour acid in their faces.
The men react that way so the women can become disfigured forever.
“These poor girls and women have had their lives ruined; some have been forced to undergo surgery 20-30 times in order that they may see a little, or breathe a bit, hear something, perhaps in order to eat or make themselves understood. “
Why would human beings attack each other in that way? Pouring acid on people will mutilate them everlastingly.
Wickedness seems to be increasing daily.
