It’s rainy season-and this valley definitely needs the rain-but the last thing you want to hear about is flooding. For those living near Permanente Creek in Mountain View flooding is a real danger.
The water district is targeting two areas in Mountain View: McKelvey Park and Cuesta Park Annex. They have been working on flood protection designs for the area. They will be holding a second round of workshops to inform the residents of their design progress and to gain input.
The Mckelvey Park meeting will be on November 18 and the meeting for Cuesta Park Annex will be on November 29. Both meeting will be held in the Council Chambers of Mountain View City Hall at 500 Castro Street. They will both run from 6:30pm until 8:30pm.
