Safe Bets – If there is such a thing in this league of parity…
Colts – Indianapolis needs to rebound after a tough game in Philly last week. At home versus Cincinnati is just the ticket.
Giants – Eli Manning and the Giants have a juicy matchup against the NFL’s whipping…er the Dallas Cowboys
Buccaneers – Tough loss last week to the Falcons but they showed they can hang with the leagues elite. The going will be easier this week at home versus Carolina.
Closer Calls – Go with your gut…
Eagles – Michael Vick has never looked better and Washington is dealing with the commotion related to Shanahan benching McNabb.
Bills – Yes! The Buffalo Bills will get their first win. They fallen just short several times and a home matchup versus the Lions is very winnable.
Chiefs – Kansas City will rebound from their tough loss in OT last week and beat the 2-6 Broncos in Denver.
Knuckle Balls – Who knows…
Dolphins – Two good teams who are closely matched. Miami gets the nod because they are at home.
Steelers – I’ll take the Steelers favored by 4 points at home. Is the absence of Randy Moss starting to hurt the Patriots?
Cardinals – Arizona is only 3-5 but they are at home against the Seahawks.
Upsets – Embrace the underdog…
Texans – Both teams are 4-4 but I like Matt Schuab and the Houston offense.
Bears – I can’t believe the Vikings are actually favored. They are struggling to recapture the magic from last year. but it’s not gonna happen in Chicago.
Browns – Colt McCoy and the Browns have won two straight games — over star QBs Drew Brees and Tom Brady…think Sanchez is gonna stop them? I take the Browns in another thrilling upset.
Rams – The 2-6 San Francisco giants are getting a lot of credit for being the home team favored by 6 points this week but I will take Bradford and Co. coming out of the bye.
