Use these Week 13 WR Rankings to help you decide which WR to Start and which WR to Sit on your fantasy football team this week.
Week 13 – WR Rankings
1. Brandon Lloyd – Den = @KC
From an undrafted free agent pickup in nearly all fantasy football leagues to begin the season, Lloyd is more than deserving of this #1 WR ranking for week 13. Boasting a season average of 102 receiving yards per game this season, as well as 9 touchdowns, Lloyd is one sizzling hot fantasy football WR right now. Add in a matchup against the rival Chiefs this week, and the Broncos passing attack should be out in full force in this game. With a 6 reception, 90 receiving yard, 2 touchdown performance against the Chiefs in the first matchup this season, Lloyd should easily be pushing stats in that range once again this week.
Last Game vs KC – Week 10 — 6 receptions, 90 receiving yards, 2 touchdowns
2. Dwayne Bowe – KC = Den
Fact or Fiction: Dwayne Bowe has tallied 32 receptions, 465 receiving yards, and 7 touchdowns over the past 3 weeks? FACT
There is no hotter WR in the entire NFL right now, and with a growing connection with Matt Cassel and an outstanding running game with Jamal Charles and Thomas Jones, defenses simply cannot key on shutting down Bowe. The matchup against Champ Bailey will be tough this week, but how can you possible bet against Bowe right now?! 100 receiving yards and 1 touchdown on the conservative end is likely this week.
Last Game vs Den – Week 10 — 13 receptions, 186 receiving yards, 2 touchdowns
3. Greg Jennings – GB = SF
Tallying yet another 100 plus receiving yard game last week, Jennings faces a so-so 49ers defense that will likely have a hard time slowing down Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay passing attack this week. At this point in the season, Jennings has transformed into a very reliable WR for fantasy football teams right now. Another 5-8 reception, 80-125 receiving yard, and 1 touchdown performance is very likely this week for Jennings.
Last Game vs SF – not this season — 5 receptions, 126 receiving yards, 1 touchdown
4. Roddy White – Atl = @TB
Tying his lowest receiving yardage of the season in last weeks game against the Packers with just 49 receiving yards should have been somewhat expected. However on the downside for White this week, Tampa Bay was the defense that held White to that same low receiving yardage earlier this season. Still as a WR who averages 96 receiving yards per game and has already tallied 7 touchdowns, there is no reason not to stick with White this week in fantasy football starting lineups.
Last Game vs TB – Week 9 — 4 receptions, 49 receiving yards, 0 touchdowns
5. DeSean Jackson – Phi = Hou
Jackson probably boasts the best matchup of any fantasy football WR this week, but unfortunately he has not been very reliable over the past week two weeks. However it is important to keep in mind that the lack of passing attack and effectiveness by Michael Vick over those two weeks has clearly affected Jackson as well. With a matchup definitely in favor of Vick this week, Jackson offers huge boom potential for fantasy football teams.
Last Game vs Hou — never played before
6. Reggie Wayne – Ind = Dal
The matchup is ideal for Wayne to have an outstanding game in the stat department, however oddly enough, Wayne will need to rely on a struggling Peyton Manning to turn thing around this week. If Manning can flip the switch, then anything in the range of 5-10 receptions for 80-125 receiving yards and 1 touchdown is possible for Wayne in this game.
Last Game vs Dal – not this season — 7 receptions, 111 receiving yards, 1 touchdown
7. Santonio Holmes – NYJ = @NE
Outstanding matchup this week for the emerging reliable Holmes, it is reasonable to expect stats in the range of 4-8 receptions for 75-100 receiving yards and 1 touchdown in this game, with more easily possible as well.
Last Game vs NE – not this season — 7 receptions, 111 receiving yards, 1 touchdown
8. Andre Johnson – Hou = @Phi
After escaping a possible suspension for this week, Johnson is a solid play for fantasy football teams this week. However Johnson’s biggest upside rests on the healthy of the Eagles best cornerback Asante Samuel. If Samuel cannot play in this game, then Johnson’s stat potential gets a boost.
Last Game vs Phi – not this season — 6 receptions, 101 receiving yards, 0 touchdowns
9. Jeremy Maclin – Phi = Hou
Outstanding matchup for Maclin against the worst pass defense in the entire NFL this season. Now it is just a matter of relying on Vick to throw the ball more than run it, and then when Vick does throw, to actually throw it to Maclin rather than DeSean Jackson. But overall, both DeSean Jackson and Jermey Maclin are great options for fantasy football teams this week.
Last Game vs Hou — never played before
10. Mario Manningham – NYG = Was
In a nearly must win divisional game for the Giants this week, I expect Eli Manning to attack the Redskins secondary which has clearly been their defensive weakness so far this season. Manningham should benefit tremendously, and stats in the range of 75-100 receiving yards and 1 touchdown is definitely possible.
Last Game vs Was – not this season — 3 receptions, 44 receiving yards, 1 touchdown
11. Calvin Johnson – Det = Chi
Not a great matchup for Johnson this week, as the Chicago Bears defense has really been playing well in recent weeks. However touchdown potential is always there with Johnson, and as usual, you do not really want to bench a stud like Johnson at this point in the fantasy football season.
Last Game vs Chi – Week 1 — 4 receptions, 45 receiving yards, 0 touchdowns
12. Percy Harvin – Min = Buf
The Vikings are sure to run the ball a ton in this game, but the game breaking speed of Harvin could easily make a huge impact against a weak Bills defense. Anything from a screen play to a deep pass to a kickoff return, Harvin offers a great deal of scoring potential in this game. Add in the fact that Sidney Rice just is not up to speed yet, and Harvin is really the only reliable receiver in the Vikings offense.
Last Game vs Buf — never played before
13. Steve Johnson – Buf = @Min
The infamous drop last week garnered a lot of attention towards Steve Johnson, but I do not expect a hangover for him in this game. The Vikings secondary has been their defensive weakness, and the Bills passing offense has been their ticket to success. Expect solid stats from Johnson once again this week.
Last Game vs Min — never played before
14. Marques Colston – NO = @Cin
Not a great matchup for Colston against two excellent cornerbacks for the Bengals this week, but with plenty of passes likely going around for the Saints offense this week, Colston is a threat that could tally big stats at any moment.
Last Game vs Cin — never played before
15. Larry Fitzgerald – Ari = StL
Life is tough in Fitzgerald land right now, and a Derek Anderson meltdown after last weeks game does not help. However with virtually no running game to speak of for the Cardinals offense, a great deal of passing should continue and Fitzgerald is talented enough to just make things happen.
Last Game vs StL – Week 1 — 3 receptions, 43 receiving yards, 1 touchdown
16. Mike Williams – TB = Atl
One of the more reliable fantasy football WRs this season, Williams who tallied a solid 89 receiving yards and 1 touchdown against the Falcons earlier this season, could be looking at similar stats this week as well.
Last Game vs Atl – Week 9 — 4 receptions, 89 receiving yards, 1 touchdown
17. Wes Welker – NE = NYJ
After weeks of playing the disappearing man in the Patriots offense, Welker has now tallied 3 touchdowns over the past two games. Unfortunately for Welker this week, the Revis/Cromartie tandem will be in town. Still the underneath receptions seem likely, and a touchdown is always possible when you have Tom Brady as your QB.
Last Game vs NYJ – Week 2 — 6 receptions, 38 receiving yards, 1 touchdown
18. Anquan Boldin – Bal = Pit
Boldin has been a huge disappointment for fantasy football teams so far this season, and worse yet is the fact that he has been nearly invisible over the past few weeks in the Ravens passing game. However if the Ravens plan on beating their tough rival this week, then Joe Flacco will be looking to pass a lot on the Steelers defensive weakness….the secondary.
Last Game vs Pit – Week 4 — 7 receptions, 68 receiving yards, 0 touchdowns
19. Mike Wallace – Pit = @Bal
After posting three consecutive 100 plus receiving yard games, Wallace finally had a dud of a game last week against the Buffalo Bills. However most of that can be attributed to the Steelers running the ball a ton with Mendenhall rather than passing it. With a likely tough grind it out game in store for the Steelers this week, I expect the passing game to be more active and therefore Wallace has a great opportunity to be heavily involved in the offense once again.
Last Game vs Bal – Week 4 — 2 receptions, 24 receiving yards, 0 touchdowns
20. Terrell Owens – Cin = NO
Tough matchup for the Bengals passing attack this week against a stingy Saints pass defense, but if anyone is likely to catch what Carson Palmer is throwing, Owens is the guy. Add in the fact that the Bengals will likely be playing catch up and thus forced to throw a lot, and the outlook for Owens looks a little better.
Last Game vs NO – not this season — 3 receptions, 56 receiving yards, 1 touchdown
21. Jabar Gaffney – Den = @KC / SLEEPER – SPOT STARTER
While the Brandon Lloyd show in Denver gets a ton of attention, the emergence of Jabar Gaffney deserves a good deal of attention as well. With a matchup against the tough division rival Chiefs in store for this week, and the likelyhood that the Broncos once again have to play catch up, it makes sense to believe that Kyle Orton will be slinging the ball a lot in this game. I expect plenty of passes to be throw Gaffney’s way in this game, as the Chiefs best cornerback Brandon Flowers will be shadowing Brandon Lloyd. As a reliable stat producer this season, Gaffney is a rare WR that offers fantasy football teams both reliable stats and boom potential this week.
Last Game vs KC – Week 10 — 3 receptions, 57 receiving yards, 1 touchdown
