I am at loss for words. What happened to the once beautiful Lindsy Lohan? She is only three years younger than I am and had such a great life ahead of her. Now she is ruining her life. I remember always seeing her in numerous numbers of television spots and countless print ads like Toys ‘R Us. She has made a name for herself and became famous. She is worth millions of dollars and yet she still insists to take drugs and driving while under the influence.
I remember the first time she was arrested in July 24, 2007 with drug possession and I was in shock. I heard that she has just below the level of drugs to make the arrest a felony. Therefore she was let off with a slap on the wrist with just two small charges. She has had a few other run ins with the law and always seems to get off with a slap on the wrist.
Here Lindsay is again and she is once again in trouble for not passing her drug test. All that the judge did was slapped her wrist and basically ordered her to psychotherapy and counseling for her addictions. I believe that yes all of these the young woman desperately needs. I understand that drug abuse is an addiction and a disease. I have always believed if a person truly wants to change they can. So therefore I do wonder if she really wants to change. I just hope that she reflects back on her life and sees what her life is becoming. She is famous but not only because of being an actress that I remember her as but as a drug attic. I find it sad when I turn the channel and I hear her name it’s hardly ever good any more. It is always about her substance abuse and what else she is doing wrong.
I also have always believed that just a slap of the wrist isn’t the only thing that a person needs to learn a lesson. Maybe some time in prison with psychotherapy and counseling for her addictions would be of use. After all in a lot of rich people’s minds are that they can get away with just about anything and they are pretty much right. After all they have the huge amount of money to afford the good defense attorneys and etc. If it was me in Lindsay’s place I would have no chance at all. I would have been locked up in the prison and forgotten with no help at all just because I have no money. I just feel that everyone in the justice system should be treated the same way but I guess the rich are not the same as the ‘common’ people.
I as a Christian woman pray that God will find His way into her heart and heal her. I believe that counseling is not the only treatment she needs but also a good dose of God’s spirit. I don’t hate nor do I judge Lindsay nor do I hate nor judge any other person like her. I however, do have pity for her because she is heading a very long lonely road and chances of being able to turn back are slim.
