Every once in awhile each of us feels lonely. I believe it’s an epidemic. We all need and want to feel loved. When this is absent it creates much hurt and loneliness. Following are some ideas I have found help when I feel lonely.
Reach out to people we are close to. Do hobbies and things we enjoy. Help others that are in pain and need a helping hand.Whatever we do- we DON’T want to stay at home and hide ourselves in our house or bedroom. That is so tempting to do because loneliness can leave us tired and depressed and it seems like the last thing we want to do is push oursleves to see others, but this is so crucial.
Focus on our spirituality, whatever it is. It can bring comfort and remind us that we are loved and we DO have a purpose in life.We were created to love and be loved.
Don’t let loneliness take life away from us. We need to live the wondrous life given to us as a gift!We have a gift to give the world which no one else can. Each of us can bring a light of hope which can light up the world!
