Here it comes. The end of daylight savings time. On November 7, 2010, we will fall back into time. Yes, really. Set your clocks back one hour. It’s coming! That old fall time change. Are you ready?
November 7, 2010 is the date set for this year’s fall back into time. I notice that this 2010 time change happens on a Sunday. Oh, boy. Lots of fall fun for the working folks. Nothing like having to get up one hour earlier on a work day. Yikes. I hate that! No fun. We will be all sleepy eyed at our desks and on our jobs and believe me, some people will even have the nerve to ask “Why do you look so tired?” Yes, they will. Expect it. It’s coming. Try hard not to throw a cup of coffee at them. They will throw you in jail for that now days.
I do like the fall time best and I get lots of friends and family members asking me why. Well, I work at home and I like to sleep in. I also treasure more evening hours than daylight hours, so this time change is welcomed by me. Quite frankly, I wish they would leave the time alone. Many folks feel this way, I have discovered. Most favor more daylight hours and I can understand this. It is no fun to go to work in the dark and end your work shift in the dark, also. You never see the light of day all day and that can be terrible. Driving to and from work in the dark, both ways, is not fun. I understand.
I love having lots of night time hours for sleep, work, tv, and activities. We all have our own preferences and I do sympathize. Whatever time you like, the fact remains that we will be falling back in time on November 7, 2010. Set your clocks back one hour before going to sleep. You will awaken to a new time and isn’t that exciting? No? Well, pretend it is. You really have no choice in the matter. I know, some parts of the USA do not do this time change thing and yay for you. I am not concerned about that since, most of us will be doing the time warp back in time. Let’s do the time warp again, yeehaw.
So, this a reminder, for those of you that do not know when the time changes in the fall of 2010. November seventh is the magical time warping date. Marked on most calendars and if it isn’t on yours, well, you might want to put it there. Just so you know. Oh, you will find out soon enough, if you miss this date. You will be early to many engagements, parties, work and who wants that? You’ll see. It will be funny to everyone else. But you. Enough said. The times are changing and do be aware. It’s coming. Happy fall! This is your personal time fall time change alert from me. You were warned. Fall back happily.
