Even if you are short on cash, you can still look stylish. Believe it or not, Seattle is a very trendy city. After all, major department store, Nordstrom, is headquartered in Seattle’s downtown. Seattle is also very expensive. So if you want to look stylish but don’t want to go broke, then you should visit the stores I’m suggesting. They are all located in downtown, Seattle and are great for both your style and your wallet.

It seems like each time I visit H&M downtown, their merchandise is always new. This store carries the latest trends but never a hefty price. I have found five-dollar pencil skirts dressy enough for the office and twenty-dollar jackets perfect for the rain.

If the Nordstrom is too expensive for you, then Nordstrom Rack is just right! Carrying all the brands from Nordstrom that didn’t sell, The Rack provides the same quality fashion at less than half the price.
I found a cream-colored Cole Haan bag for only $50.00. Its regular price would have been over $300.00!
Ross Dress for Less
301 Pike St.
Seattle, WA 98104
Ross is my absolute favorite for bargain-shopping! Sure it’s a little messy and crowded there, but the prices are really cheap! I’ve walked away with over 10 items for under $100.00!
The brands are nice too. Normally, Ross takes Designer rejects like T.J Maxx and Marshall’s. Last year, I paid $20.00 for a Guess Satchel, $30.00 for a pair of Steve Madden pumps, and $12.00 for a pair of DKNY jeans.
Ross also contains the latest trends. Last year, sweater dresses were in for the fall and I walked away with 4 of them at an average of $10.00 each!
In downtown Seattle, there are also other popular stores like Banana Republic, Macy’s and Express. All of them often have great sales. But the 3 stores above have consistently given me great deals. I recommend them to anyone who seeks a lot of style for a little price.
