Who are you, God; that men should trust in your promises; that men should believe in the power of your words; that men should hold you as faithful and true to all that you write and speak?
You are the God who made a nation out of the seed of a man. In terms of geographic land area, it is a small nation that you have made. It is a tiny blip on the face of an enormous expanse of water and land. Yet it is a blip that no power under this sun has ever been able to eradicate. In the history of all mankind, many nations have come against your promise, and many nations have failed.
In the span of all time, nations have risen and nations have fallen, yet Israel, a mote in times eye, remains ever present. How astonishing this should be to the secular world, and to those who refuse to believe that your words will stand forever. Here remains a seeming insignificant nation, one that would seem weak in the order of super-powers, yet one that will not lie down before the continuous assault of wicked leaders of worldwide might.
Who are you, God, that your promises never fail?
“1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother’s son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.
6 And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land.
7 And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.
8 And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD.
9 And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south,” (Genesis 12:1-9).
Oh ye men who deny the name of Jesus Christ, are you so blinded by this world’s wicked system? Can you, in your limited knowledge really explain and understand the continued position of worldwide importance that surrounds God’s promised nation? Why is it not forgotten? Why is it not conquered, crushed, and removed from the balance of power?
Read, and understand. Fear not the truth for it holds the order of deliverance from a defeated life. Learn whom it is that keeps Israel in the forefront of this world’s desires.
Who are you, God, that men should trust in the power of your word? You are the creator, the sustainer, and the ruler over all authority in heaven and earth.
“16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist,” (Colossians 1:16-17).
Believe upon the name of Jesus Christ, if not for the understanding of who he is, then for the evidence of a nation that will not fall.
