If you love crime, drama, and humor, well you’ll love Bones. It’s got a great cast that works perfectly together and the writers have done a tremendous job of each show. Looking at each show I’ve seen over the years, I really can’t think of one that was poorly done. Sure there might have been some topics that I didn’t really find as entertaining, no wait there wasn’t. Each and every show had me on the edge of my seat and ready to see what was going to happen.
We actually had a game in our home where we would try and figure out who did the crime before the end of the show. Most of the time we were actually wrong, because it had so many fabulous twists to the story, you never knew what was going to happen.
Like one show that comes to mind is when they are chasing the Gormogon killer. If you’ve never watched the show he was a serial killer that would haunt them for years. He liked to eat a bit of the body of the person that he killed.
Well this one show they actually received part of a body in a box that was placed in the lab, not mailed, but placed. As you can imagine tensions were high because a killer had possibly come into their home turf and left a present. But the show got even better when the corpse they had reassembled from the few pieces they had left of past victims was stolen.
Talk about a huge security breach and one that would have them even more nervous than they already were from the package. You really had to wonder who the inside guy was, because that was really the only way that this whole thing would have been pulled off.
The finger was pointing at the newest member of the team, a Dr. Sweets. He was new and no one really knew too much about him. But really to bring in a new character only to have him leave so quickly you really had to wonder if the writers would do that or not.
Next a lab accident took place and one of the main characters, Zach was hurt, and he burnt his hands really badly. Again pointing to an inside job and you really had no clue at this point that it might be. Possibly a character who you really didn’t know.
In the end it turned out to be Zach who had injured himself on purpose who had been helping the killer. It was a blow to those faithful who watched the show, and probably even to the newer viewers at that time.
But it’s better if not too much more is told about other episodes, but to let you know this is one show that is well worth the time to check out.
