If you’ve moved to Office 2007, no doubt you’ve used Word 2007. Many of the functions from older versions of Word are still available, but Office 2007 did well at enhancing the look and presentational flare available.
Word 2007 underline word options are a nice new feature.
On the “Home” tab, in the “Font” group, the “U” for underline now has a drop down arrow next to it.
NOTE: Office 2003 and earlier only had the “U” option on the formatting toolbar. To change underline styles, you had to go through the Format | Font menus to edit the underline style.
Simply highlight the word or text you want to underline and click on the drop down arrow.
Now, you have the option of selecting from many different underline styles.
You also have the option of changing the underline color from this drop down arrow.
This is one more time saver that Office 2007 created.
