Whether you live by the books or are a little rebellious by nature, sometimes it’s just plain fun to be bad. Here are a few rules most of us can plead guilty to breaking:
Sneaking Treats Into the Movies
People of all ages enjoy covert operations from time to time, and sneaking a soda or a candy bar into the movie theater is no exception. Whether the theater doesn’t have the snack your craving, or you don’t feel like paying double the price, most of us can recall a time when we smuggled in a little something sweet.
Luckily, larger purses and murses (man purses) are so in right now.
Kissing on the First Date
You tell yourself you’re not going to kiss on the first date. But the date goes even better than expected, and with the stars out, and the music just right, you’re swept off your feet. That little promise was a nice thought, but sometimes not even the garlic-crusted pizza can stop us from a make-out session!
Drunk Dialing and Texting
It’s last-call and here you are, with a drink in one hand and your phone in the other. The next day you check your call history only to discover you had a lengthy conversation with your ex, and even sent texts to your crush. Is this a familiar scenario? If so, Don’t Dial may be your new best friend. The app allows users to either lock away certain contacts for a particular amount of time or grant a trusted friend permission to enter a password before you can dial or text.
Mixing Business with Pleasure
There’s something sexy about sneaking a smooch on the elevator or secretly meeting your co-worker for a little rendezvous on your lunch break. Some companies are okay with in-office dating and other employers outright forbid it. While there are perks for office romances, it can definitely become awkward after a bad breakup and effect job performance. Be sure to weigh your options before participating in office hook-ups.
Drinking Before Noon
Have you ever woken up and said “it’s time for a drink?” While many prefer cocktails in the evening, some retirees, vacationers, and football fanatics find themselves enjoying a cold one before everyone else. While this is probably not ideal on a daily basis, adults should not feel guilty about starting a bit earlier on special occasions like St. Patrick’s Day or while relaxing on a beach in Mexico. It’s 5:00 somewhere, right?
