Whether you are visiting Berlin for a weekend or plan to stay longer, you will find the city quite impressive, with all its rich history and culture. Berlin is an exciting city to visit, offering both young and old alike the best from both worlds. From its medieval beginnings to the ultra-modern city it is today, Berlin has a diverse mix of people, nightlife and architecture. No one should leave the city without memorable photos. Below are the five best spots to photograph while you’re in Berlin.
Seeresidenz am Müggelsee
Berlin’s most beautiful romantic restaurant lies on the water, which is adjacent to the last stop of the number 60 tram line, just before the water supply at Friedrichshagen. The broad lawn is shaded by large trees and bordered on one side by a country cottage right on the waterfront, offering much more than just a terrace or a beer garden. The couples sit on a terrace overlooking the lake. Many couples have been proposed to or have gotten engaged. There really is no other place in Berlin, which gives the couple such a broad perspective, while eating and drinking.

For something a little more unusual, a visit to the Weinerei is a wine-lover’s dream come true. Here is how it works; you enter, pay 1 Euro for a glass and help yourself to a range of wines – sometimes as many as 20. After you drink, ask what is cooking for the evening, eat as much as you want and pay what you think is fair and equitable. Drop the money in the bucket by the door on your way out. There are several of these in the city, but the best one is situated on Zionkirchestrassee 40.

Berlin Radio Tower
One of the most famous landmarks associated with the city is the Berlin Radio Tower (Berliner Funkturm). The unique feature of the radio tower is that its feet stand on large porcelain insulators. The radio tower is probably the only observation tower in the world standing on porcelain insulators. The elevator will take you up to the restaurant and observation platform, a very popular destination. With an open air observation deck at 121 meters, visitors get a bird’s eye view of the city, making it a great place to photograph from. After all that work, it’s time to relax at the radio tower’s restaurant situated almost 52 meters above the ground, providing good food at a reasonable price. Inside the restaurant, with its metallic and bright interior, visitors will find that all the tables are located next to a window, providing a fantastic view of the city’s landscape. Some of the popular menu items include lamb and vegetables, fresh seafood and savory steaks. The radio tower is situated in the Charlottenburg Wilmersdorf district of Berlin.
