Do you sit around on Sunday dreading that Monday will be here soon. Well stop sitting and get moving. I have 5 ways to beat the Sunday blues and make Sunday a fun day and fulfill your entertainment schedule.
Plan to see a movie with your spouse, friend or relative. Once a month plan some entertainment by going to the movies with your new movie companion. It will give you the opportunity to bond, while springing somewhere other than your couch. You can also get that well deserved relaxation at the movies. Who doesn’t like going to a nice theater? And don’t forget to buy popcorn. I’m ready to plan my movie date right now. Do you want butter on your popcorn?
The church bulletin or local paper is full of events coming up. Lots of brunches, pot luck dinners and some of these events fall right after church on Sunday.
I’m guilty of overlooking my Sunday bulletin and missing get togethers. We could all pay better attention to what is going on in our own hometown.
I would love to fellowship with loved ones than go home and be lonely until Monday rolls around.
The holidays is the perfect opportunity to find out about those brunches and the perfect time to spend more time with your church family. Don’t let the Sunday blues get you down. Let’s all make Sunday a fun day and make more time for brunches in our community. This is my goal for next month. I hope it will be yours too.
When is the last time you played putt-putt golf? It’s been 15 years since I’ve been. Whether you’re 5 or 50 this game is fascinating to say the least.
I can remember going and trying ten times to hit the clown’s mouth at the end. My whole group couldn’t stop laughing at my bad aim. I would brag about being such a good athlete in school but I sucked at putt-putt golf. But being awful is what made the game so entertaining.
Sporting event or Sports Bar
Catch a game on a Sunday of your favorite football or basketball team. Professional football is played on Sundays. If you can’t afford to jet off to your favorite teams home field, hit the sports bar.
Lots of fans join together at a sports bar. They are located all across the nation. Look on line for a location near you. Do you have a buddy that you talk sports with? Call him or her up and make it a Sunday event. This will help with any Sunday blues you still have.
Bowling would be the perfect place to hit on a Sunday afternoon. It will relieve stress and tension and would be perfect with a large group or even a few close friends.
I met my husband at a bowling alley. It was a blind date set up by mutual friends of both of us. We knew if we didn’t hit it off, we could still sit around and bowl and have a blast. Lucky for us we did hit it off and we were able to enjoy a game or two of bowling.
I can’t promise you will find your future husband or wife but I do bet you have lots of fun bowling and hanging out with your friends.
