Happy Farmer on Facebook is a crop growing game. You gain money and experience by doing things on the farm. Anything purchased in Happy Farmer will give you experience when you place it on the farm.
In Happy Farmer you start out with a small farm with a few plots already plowed. You have a limited amount of space to work with but the size of the farm can be expanded. You are also able to buy various things for the farm. These include seeds, trees, animals, buildings, decorations, vehicles, and even expansions to the farm.
The seeds available in Happy Farmer are limited at first. As you gain levels, more options will become available to you. For seeds, if they grow fast, you will get less money but more experience. Be sure that if you are planting seeds that grow fast, you will be able to come back to harvest in time or the plants will die. Not to worry too much, if your plant dies, you can clean up the dead plants, which will cost money, but will give you experience. Even a farmer with a brown thumb will get better with time.
If you are trying to get a lot of money in Happy Farmer and can’t play every day, trees are the way to go. The fruit on the tree never goes bad. That means not playing for a few days, weeks, or even a month will still allow you to harvest when you come back to Happy Farmer.
Animals, like trees, can also get cash and do not go bad in Happy Farmer. Again this is a good choice for the occasional player who does not have time to play every day.
The Vehicles in Happy Farmer speed up the game by allowing you to plow and harvest crops quicker. This allows you to plow or harvest multiple sections at once. Of course this is at the price of using fuel.
Expanding the Farm
In order to get the most out of the game, you will want to expand the farm. The easiest way to do this is to have neighbors. The more neighbors you have, the larger you can expand your farm. This can also be achieved without neighbors by spending Cash.
Coins and Cash
Coins are the common currency in Happy Farmer. These can be earned through any harvest. Cash must be purchased using real world money. Cash can be a quick way to get ahead in the game without the need of having a lot of Facebook neighbors.
As with almost all Facebook games, neighbors can help make the game easier. They can give gifts, help out on your farm and be visited. Visiting neighbors daily can net you a lot of coins and experience, if you have a lot of neighbors.
