I always turn to Associated Content when I have things I want to look up or gain knowledge about outside of my own abilities. As a result, I have read many great articles, and am quite impressed with the quality of writing that I see nearly every day.
I read articles about writing online the most. Thanks to all these informative articles that I have read, I know know what SEO mean, keywords, the importance of page views, and the virtue of patience when enduring a writing career. I’ve learned what sites to try to make money with, the sites to completely avoid, and have learned very quickly that turning to Associated Content is the greatest way to get honest advice about the work from home ideas that work, the ones that are scams, and the ones that are a true waste of time.
I’ve been writing on Associated Content for some time now (gosh, has it been 3 years already?), and I love not only writing for this reliable site, but seeing other people read my articles. I had no idea until just a few months ago that page views actually equaled more pay, which was a pleasant surprise. It’s no wonder then that I had no clue what keywords meant or why they were important, what a clout level meant (I’m at 9, assuming that is good), and rarely even looked at my dashboard. I just hit the publish button and go from there.
Without the aid of all you fellow writers, I would have no idea what Triond was, Clickbank, google adsense, performance pay, page views, keywords, SEO etc even means. I simply joined to write and enjoy other articles written by fellow Associated Content writers, and now my eyes are wide open to the possibilities of what really makes money when you write from home.
Since I’m already set in my ways, I’ll continue to write basically because I enjoy it. I don’t think I’ll pay attention to page views other than to see if people liked them or not based on comments (if any), but I at least now know how to make my articles more discoverable so I can reach more readers, which is what writing is all about. It’s the simple thrill of knowing that your article has reached someone else’s mind, and getting paid for it is just icing on the cake.
So THANK YOU, fellow writers, for publishing highly informative articles about online writing and all that entails to open my eyes beyond just the “publish” button. We’ve got a lot of smart cookies writing here, and I am grateful for each and every one of y’all. Keep up the awesome work- it is truly appreciated, informative, and valuable to your readers.
