Biker’s
Every May, Myrtle Beach hosts its annual biker’s week in Myrtle Beach. It draws a large crowd, due in large part to the lack of helmet laws. Every year, over 200,000 bikers converge for 10 days and cruise the Strand with their bikes. A local swap meet and market is available where bikes, bike accessories and anything related to bikers can be sold or bought. Many bikers get together during the week and cruise the entire state’s coast, riding from Murrells Inlet to Charleston, South Carolina.

Minature Golf
While various top-rated golf courses are located in and around Myrtle Beach, the area is called the “miniature golf capital of the world,” with 40 miniature golf courses along the 25-mile strip. One of the more well-known courses is Rainbow Falls Golf, the oldest miniature golf course in town. Hawaiian Rumble, another course, was rated the top mini-golf course in the country by “Golf Magazine” and is the setting for two national tournaments. An uncarpeted 18-hole course, which is the training center for the U.S. Professional Mini Golf Association, is located on site. The courses are known for their elaborate and colorful sculptures and designs.
