This guide will show you how to add music to your photo slideshow menu and how to preview your menu in Allstar DVD Photo Slideshow. Adding music to your menu is different from adding music to your slideshow. The musicadded to your menu is what you will hear while the menu is open. The music you added to your slideshow is the music you will hear while the slideshow is playing. If you are following my guides on creating a DVD photo slideshow in Allstar DVD Photo Slideshow, this is the next step and you are close to finishing.
To get started with this step, you will need to load your photo slideshow and go to the design menu section. In the design menu section, you will need to click the Music button. When the music box opens, you will see that there is already a music file in the box. You can click the file and click the Play button to listen to it. If this is the music file you want to use, you can keep it and close the box out. If it is not the music file you want to use, you can delete it and select your own.
To delete the music file in the box, you will first need to click it to select it. Then you can click the Delete button at the top of the box. Now you can add your own music file. Click the Add button at the top of the box and the folder box will open. Search your computer and find the music file you want to use. Once you locate it, double click it and the file will load in the box.
You can now preview the file by clicking it and clicking the Play button. You can click the Stop button when you are ready to stop it. When you are finished with your music file, click the Close button to apply the music and close the box.
To preview your menu, you will need to click the Power On button at the bottom of the menu window. Then click the Play button to play it. When you are finished watching the preview, you can stop it by clicking stop.
