A lot of couples lose that spark after a time. Work, having children and too much stress can wreck havoc on a marriage. Possibilities to get away and creating some spark are endless. Some takes planning. Some may take some cash but there are many great ideas that are low-cost. Remember it’s not about the money. It’s about the thought and recreating old or even creating new memories with your spouse.
Purchase a pack of Post-It Notes. Write sweet, tender messages to each other and post them in places where you will be sure to find them. Or you can stir up some passion, leaving racy notes, just be careful. You might not want others to find them.
Serve each other breakfast in bed. Prep as much as you can ahead of time. Get naked and feed each other. Think outside the box. It doesn’t have to be a traditional breakfast. Think simple, yet elegant foods you can feed each other. I bet you won’t finish breakfast.
Invest in beautifying your bedroom. Don’t make it all girlie. Just nice and comfortable. Mood lighting and great pillows. Will do wonders. Add a great CD to the mix and enjoy each others company.
Read aloud to each other. Nothing too long though. If something touches you deeply and you feel like you should share it by all means do.
Find a sport that you both enjoy doing. Working up a sweat outside the bedroom will boost your endorphines. Whatever happens afterward is just a great bonus.
Massage and pamper each other. Not just backs and feet. Scalp massages and legs and arm massages can be very sensual.
Start a hobby together or take up dancing. Plan a special vacation or buy a hot tub. The possibilities are endless.
Add some spice at least once a week. You gotta keep those fires burning.
