I always enjoy the love and camaraderie that is often exhibited between grandparents and their grandchildren. I was fortunate to have had a wonderful relationship with mine. Although now deceased, I have very fond memories.
When I read about 16-year-old Sunmee Huh in the April 2010 AARP Bulletin I couldn’t help but smile at what she has accomplished. She observed that her grandfather, Samuelson Huh had trouble when he was searching the Web. Concern for this problem led her to create a more appropriate site for seniors. It is called www.Good50.com.
According to the article, “The site features a larger search box and fonts and has fewer text ads above the results”.
It is not hard to believe why this young woman is on the honor roll at her school in Germantown, MD.
Sunmee you have made having a computer a more enjoyable experience for seniors. And because of your care and compassion displayed towards your grandfather and other seniors, you are recognized as today’s American Shero. You are quite a talented young woman. Thank you for caring for our senior citizens.
