Last week the final five girls went on go-sees around Milan, posed like statues and Chris was eliminated. Kayla got the number one picture again.
The episode opened with the bottom three gals talking about themselves. Jane said she had to show that she wasn’t a robot. Chelsey said she was from Idaho and fashion there was nonexistent. Kayla said she was improving and didn’t want to go home.
Tyra Mail: “Modeling is 100% you and 50% who you know.”
The girls met with Miss J who introduced them to acting coach Barbara Terrinoni. She coached the girls through different emotions like happiness, anger, screaming and being scared. Then they were told they would be meeting with someone very important in the fashion world: Vogue Italia editrix Franca Sozzani.
In the building the girls took the elevator upstairs and met Andre Leon Talley and Senora Sozzani. Each girl would individually meet with Franca and show off their personalities to her.
Kayla only talked about her photos and not so much about herself. Franca said she didn’t have much personality. Chelsey talked about her background in Idaho and modeling, and was open and friendly. Franca liked her and thought she could do well. Ann was quiet and shy as usual. Franca said Ann was better in photos than in person. Jane was also quiet. Franca said she was a pretty face but did not have enough character.
The winner was Chelsey. Her reward was a private viewing of Leonardo DaVinci’s “The Last Supper” with Andre Leon Talley and afterwards an overnight at a deluxe hotel. Chelsey chose Kayla to go with her. Back at the model apartment Jane and Ann had a pity party with vodka and a hand-drawn “Last Supper” courtesy of Ann.
Tyra Mail: “Movement creates energy, tomorrow you’ll be models on the move.”
The next day the girls drove to Verona and met with Mr. Jay. He told them that they would be doing a motion editorial and that two of them would be eliminated at next panel. Tyra popped in and informed the gals that she would be directing the mot-itorial. Tyra wanted tons of exaggerated emotions and sexiness from the girls. Chelsey had the best walk, Ann worked her awkwardness, Jane’s face was her best feature and Kayla’s shapes stood out.
At panel. Chelsey had to work on her arms. Jane’s face was stunning but her performance not that believable. Ann looked great but her walk was terrible. Kayla had the best performance.
The winner this week was Ann. Then Chelsey, Kayla and Jane were left. Only one more name would be called and the other two would have to pack their bags.
Bottom three: Chelsey, Kayla and Jane
Will the models please step forward? The model who will compete in the finale is… Chelsey.
Who was eliminated? Jane and Kayla. Jane you need to practice more. Kayla you need to learn how to act.
Next episode “High Fashion Highlights“ A recap of season 15 so far
The finale will air in two weeks. The final two girls stomp it out in a Roberto Cavalli runway show. So far Ann takes the best pictures but her walk is severely lacking. Chelsey has to work on her editorial angles but her runway walk rocks. Vogue Italia Editor in Chief liked Chelsey’s personality the best. But in terms of editorial pictures Ann is the best. And runway isn’t everything. Versace said Ann’s walk was horrendous but they would still book her.
